FAQs

Sage 50 and MiSys Manufacturing

MISys Manufacturing uses the Sage 50 SDK/API provided by Sage for direct interaction between the two products.

MISys Manufacturing requires Sage 50 to be running and a user to be logged into Sage 50 US. It then utilizes this logged in user when reading or updating Sage 50 US data. Sage 50 will not be usable for the user when Sage 50 data is being updated, but it can be used as normal when MISys Manufacturing is not doing the read or update.

Yes. When you perform a period end in MISys Manufacturing, and have ledger entries that refer to MISys Manufacturing jobs, it will automatically create an associated Sage 50 job for each MISys Manufacturing job and reference it in the sub-ledger entry automatically created in Sage 50.

Built On

MISys Manufacturing is built on the Microsoft SQL database engine giving you great performance and scalbility options.

Sage 300 and Misys Manufacturing

MISys Manufacturing uses the Sage 300 .NET Libraries when interacting directly with Sage 300. Additionally, it uses Sage 300 business logic to update any data in the Sage 300 module tables instead of modifying data directly.

MISys Manufacturing uses a single Sage 300 Lanpak license when connecting to Sage 300. Additional Sage 300 licenses are not required for more MISys users.

Yes. Sage 300 must be installed and have a valid license on the same computer that the MISys Manufacturing client being used to perform Sage 300 integration operations is installed on.

Flexible Deployment

MISys Manufacturing can be installed on – premises or in the Cloud, giving you access to your MiSys software system anytime, anywhere.
