Cheri Oberpriller, CPA

CTO Associates, Inc. was founded by Cheri Oberpriller in 1998.
After many years with international and regional public accounting firms, Cheri was drawn by a greater interest in helping companies grow and run their businesses more effectively. She brought her vast business experience from the public accounting arenas into greater focus providing accounting software and consulting services to small and mid-sized companies.
Cheri found guiding businesses – from formation, to assisting with selecting the right accounting solution, to implementing tools for achieving maximum benefit from their systems – much more fulfilling. Her background and experience as a Certified Public Accountant lends expert advice to clients, whether it is choosing the best business entity or process and procedural changes to most effectively implement new software into their business flow and environment to achieve desired goals. An effective manager of people and resources and committed team member, Cheri directs implementation, training and support for accounting and content solutions for clients from start-up to enterprise level including international operations. Her expertise in project plan development and coordination of internal and external resources helps customers achieve successful and effective project results.
Cheri has served on the board of directors of a number of business organizations and non-profit agencies. With her husband, Barry, she enjoys travel, gardening, preparing (and enjoying) good food, hiking in the great outdoors with their dog – and a good book to finish the evening.
Jessica is a finance executive with 20 years of strategic and operational experience, across multiple industries, in both publicly traded and private equity environments. Her progressive finance career has consisted of roles across all facets of finance, including Accounting and Controllership, Manufacturing Finance, Acquisition Due Diligence, Acquisition Integration, Commercial Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Unit Financial Leadership.
Jessica started her career as member of GE’s prestigious Financial Management Program, followed by her tenure on GE’s Corporate Audit Staff, which had financial and process improvement engagements. These leadership programs included domestic and international assignments within all of GE’s global business segments. Throughout her career, Jessica has recruited talent for, developed and managed diverse global finance teams. Her roles have consistently required the implementation of financial and operating rigor to deliver business results and enhance profitability. Process simplification and continuous improvement have been a foundation of her various career experiences. Over the years, she has been an active participant or lead on ERP and Financial planning implementations. She has also participated in multiple restructuring activities and function centralization/decentralization projects.
Jessica has extensive experience with preparing materials for and/or presenting to Executive Management, Board of Directors, Private Equity Stakeholders and Investor Relations. She is well-versed in the more tactical and frequent interactions with Business Partners and Cross-Functional Leaders, in which translating financial results and decisions into relatable messages is necessary.
Jessica is married to Jeff Katz, has three children and resides on Ballston Lake in New York. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time on the lake and traveling to new destinations.
